Biography

Ahmed Moussa obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Montreal in 2004. He pursued further training with a residency in general pediatrics (2004-2007 at UdeM) and a residency in neonatal and perinatal medicine (2007-2009 at UdeM and the University of British Columbia). In 2015, he earned a Master’s in medical education from the University of Dundee. He holds several positions at CHU Sainte-Justine and the University of Montreal, including Director of the neonatal and perinatal residency program, Chair of the neonatal resuscitation committee, Medical co-lead for infection prevention in neonatology, Director of simulation research at the maternal-child simulation center of CHU Sainte-Justine, and Educational leader in the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Moussa is currently supervising or collaborating on six research projects and has authored ten peer-reviewed publications, alongside numerous oral presentations and workshops.
