Biography

Ajay K. Kohli is the Gary T. and Elizabeth R. Jones Chair and a Regents' Professor at the Scheller College of Business, Georgia Institute of Technology. His research focuses on customer centricity, sales management, B2B marketing, and brand management. Kohli has served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Marketing and is currently an Associate Editor for that journal as well as an Area Editor for the International Journal of Research in Marketing. He has been actively involved in the American Marketing Association and currently serves on the International Advisory Board of the BI Norwegian Business School. Over his career, Kohli has received numerous honors, including the AMA/McGraw-Hill/Irwin award, and he has been recognized as a Fellow of several prestigious organizations. His teaching experience spans prestigious institutions worldwide, including Harvard Business School and Emory University, and he has led executive education seminars across various continents. Holding a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, a PGDM from IIM Calcutta, and a PhD in Business Management from the University of Pittsburgh, Kohli's contributions to the field of marketing are extensive, with his work cited prominently in the literature.
