Biography

Alexis Patterson Williams is an Associate Professor and Chair of Teacher Education at the University of California, Davis, School of Education. She joined the faculty in July 2015, previously serving as an Assistant Professor in Elementary Science Education. Dr. Patterson Williams is a native of California and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, followed by a Master's degree and Ph.D. from Stanford University's Graduate School of Education. She has published numerous articles on equity and science education in various academic journals. Dr. Patterson Williams is dedicated to community service and enhancing the educational experiences of diverse student populations.
