I have dedicated my career to improving the lives of young children through education and early intervention. I earned my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Mills College, respectively, culminating in a PhD in Human Development from the University of California, Davis. As the Executive Director of the UW Child Development Lab, I leverage my extensive experience as a student teacher, head teacher, program assessor, college lecturer, and researcher to promote the lab's teaching, research, and outreach missions. I am also a certified trainer for the Program for Infant Toddler Care and an Early Start Denver Model therapist for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with autism spectrum disorder. My previous work includes seven years at WestEd’s Center for Child and Family Studies, where I was a primary writer of the Infant/Toddler Learning and Development Foundations for the California Department of Education. I'm committed to fostering the development of young children and am excited to contribute to the education community.
