Biography

Annabel Songco is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Black Dog Institute with expertise in child and adolescent mental health. Her research program focuses on improving mental health among young people, aiming to understand how they can be resilient and withstand adversity, thereby reducing the risk of developing anxiety and depression. She is particularly interested in applying insights from cognitive psychology and neuroscience to develop evidence-based digital interventions for mental health improvement. Prior to her current role, Songco completed her PhD in Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford and worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at both the University of Oxford and the University of New South Wales.
