Biography

Annoesjka Cabo is a Professor of Statistics and Innovation Education at TU Delft. She previously served as the Director of Education for the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, and Computer Science and has been the Academic Director of the TU Delft Teaching Academy since 2019. Annoesjka completed her PhD in Stochastic Geometry applied to Image Analysis at TU Delft after studying Mathematics at the University of Amsterdam. In addition to her academic endeavors, Annoesjka has a background as a trained professional violinist, having played with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and engaged in active chamber music and violin pedagogy. Since 2012, she has been a lecturer at TU Delft, teaching courses in Linear Algebra, Calculus, Probability, and Statistics. Annoesjka was also the director of Interfaculty Education from 2016 to 2021, where she oversaw the mathematics courses designed for non-math majors at the university. She has led the Programme for Innovation in Mathematics Education (PRIME), focusing on aligning mathematics teaching with the needs of various faculties and implementing innovative educational practices. Her research interests are centered on Statistics, Innovation, and Education, particularly in the context of Mathematics Engineering and Learning.
