Biography

Dr. Yoon is a double board-certified sleep specialist and a Clinical Professor in the Division of Sleep Medicine at the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine. She has extensive experience in orthodontics, diagnosing and treating obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in children and adults. Dr. Yoon specializes in both surgical and non-surgical OSA treatments, including miniscrew-assisted rapid palatal expansion (MARPE) and maxillomandibular advancement (MMA). Dr. Yoon has published in various peer-reviewed journals and has presented her work internationally. She is a founding co-president of the World Dentofacial Sleep Society and has established clinics at both Stanford University and the University of the Pacific. Dr. Yoon is also involved in leadership positions within several professional organizations.
