Dr. Azimeh Jafari Sadr

Biography

Azimeh Jafari Sadr obtained a PhD in Child Development Psychology from Universiti Putra Malaysia. She currently holds a faculty position in the Psychology Department at Monash University Malaysia. Her research primarily focuses on mother-child interactions, emergent literacy in early childhood, and related domains of child psychology and parenting. With a decade of experience in child and adolescent psychology, Azimeh has made significant contributions to the field. She has served on the evaluation committee for psychologists at the Iran Welfare Organization and conducted workshops for psychologists and counselors affiliated with the Ministry of Education's Psychology Counseling Organization. Azimeh has taught undergraduate and postgraduate psychology courses in Iran and supervised numerous master's theses, utilizing her expertise in mixed-method research. She has particular interests in autism spectrum disorder, especially regarding its impact on family dynamics and employment opportunities. Additionally, she is actively engaged in climate change and sustainability initiatives, recognizing the importance of diverse perspectives in addressing environmental challenges. Her teaching commitment includes personnel career development, counseling, research design, and program evaluation.
