Baoyun Ge received the B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2018. His work emphasizes the duality of electrostatic and magnetostatic machines, spearheading advances in multiphysics synthesis and addressing limitations of traditional intuition-based multiphysics design by leveraging advanced mathematical tools. Outside of his academic endeavors, Baoyun enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter.
