Biography

Bart Bronnenberg is a Professor of Marketing at the Tilburg School of Economics and Management. He is a research fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) in London. He holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees in management from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, and an M.Sc. degree in industrial engineering from Twente University in the Netherlands. Bart has previously held academic positions at the University of Texas at Austin (1994-1998), the University of California, Los Angeles (1998-2007), and Stanford University (2017-2018). He is also a member of the Royal Dutch Academy of Sciences (KNAW). His current research interests include consumer demand for sustainable healthy foods, the demand for convenience in consumer time use, online product search behavior, and branding entry barriers. His publications on these topics have appeared in leading academic journals in business economics and have received international awards.
