Biography

Béatrice Joyeux-Prunel is a full professor at the University of Geneva in Switzerland, where she holds the chair in Digital Humanities. She leads the FNS Project Visual Contagions at the IMAGO Centre of the École Normale Supérieure, which is dedicated to teaching, research, and the circulation of images across Europe. In 2009, she founded Artl@s, a platform that federates international research projects concerning the globalization of art images through digital approaches.
