Begoña Arechabaleta Regulez is an Associate Instructional Professor in the Department of Romance Languages & Literatures at the University of Chicago. As a graduate student, she worked on implementing virtual reality technologies into language classrooms, designing activities that immerse students in the linguistic and cultural contexts of the target language. Begoña believes that new technologies, such as virtual reality, will play a significant role in the future of language classrooms. She is committed to continuing the development and utilization of innovative teaching strategies that are suitable for learners.
