Dr. Britt Marie Apelgren

Biography

Britt-Marie Apelgren is a Professor Emerita at the University of Gothenburg. Her primary research field concerns teachers' and students' perceptions and experiences of language teaching, framed within a constructivist perspective influenced by Personal Construct Psychology (PCP). Apelgren's research encompasses various areas, including students' language skills, English teachers' assessment practices, and content language integrated learning (CLIL). In higher education, she focuses on academic leadership and the processes involved in teaching and learning. Apelgren is dedicated to advancing the field of language education by supervising students and teaching primarily in the areas of English language learning.
