Biography

Soprano Caitlin Lynch has captivated audiences with her portrayals of iconic leading ladies. She made her debut at the Metropolitan Opera in 2013, performing the role of Biancofiore in Francesca da Rimini. Her recent performances include a company debut at Austin Opera, concert engagements with Kansas City Symphony, and appearances with notable companies such as the English National Opera and Houston Grand Opera. Lynch has received acclaim for her performances in roles such as Countess Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro and Micaëla in Carmen, among others. She is also recognized for her role as Eliza in Nico Muhly's chamber opera, Dark Sisters, which premiered at Gotham Chamber Opera. In addition to her singing career, Lynch is passionate about teaching and mentoring, serving on the faculty at Wayne State University and participating in various projects aimed at community engagement. She resides in Ferndale, MI with her husband, baritone Jonathan Lasch.
