Biography

Cameron McCordic is an Associate Professor and MDP Academic Director at the University of Waterloo's School of Environment and Enterprise Development (SEED). His research interests focus on urban sustainable development systems that give rise to compounding vulnerabilities in sustainable progress within cities. In pursuit of these research interests, he has partnered with researchers, policymakers, private industry leaders, and local communities for investigations into sustainable urban development across North America, the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia. Cameron is currently engaged with the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) Canada to develop an index for measuring Sustainable Development Goal achievements in Canadian cities.
