Biography

Camilla Forsberg is a Senior Associate Professor at Linköping University, focusing on children's perspectives regarding bullying. Her completed thesis explored how children understand and define bullying situations, examining their reactions and thought processes. In her postdoctoral research, she investigated identity processes and social categories, particularly gender, in relation to bullying. Currently, she concentrates on school bullying within various social, institutional, cultural, and historical contexts. Additionally, she explores the lived experiences of LGBTIQ+ youth facing homophobic bullying in schools. Forsberg's work addresses a critical knowledge gap in understanding the well-being of young LGBTIQ+ individuals in Sweden, especially in terms of their support needs and protective factors against bullying.
