Biography

Carina Mallard is a Professor at the University of Gothenburg, specializing in experimental perinatal brain injury research, particularly concerning brain damage in premature infants. Her research interests include treating newborn brain conditions, immune response, neurovascular interactions, and the impact of maternal nutrition on offspring brain development. Mallard has published extensively in scientific journals and is recognized for her contributions to understanding neonatal brain conditions and potential therapeutic interventions.
