Biography

Carolina Kuepper-Tetzel is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Psychology & Neuroscience at the University of Glasgow, where she specializes in Cognitive Psychology. She is an expert in applying cognitive psychology to education and is an enthusiastic science communicator. Carolina leads the TILE Network and the Learning Scientists initiative. Her research focuses on learning and memory phenomena that can be implemented in educational settings to aid teachers and students in promoting long-term retention. Carolina is committed to scholarly outreach and believes that psychological research should serve the public, which informs her teaching practices. She has presented workshops and talks on research-informed teaching at schools and teacher conferences worldwide. Carolina is also an Associate Editor for the Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied.
