Biography

Caroline is the Director of the Cambridge Schools Classics Project, which promotes and supports the teaching of Latin and classical subjects in schools across the UK and internationally. She serves as a Classics and Religious Studies Subject Specialist for the OCR exam board, part of Cambridge Assessment. Her role includes leading the creation of new qualifications and collaborating with the Department for Education and Ofqual to develop subject-specific guidelines and regulations. Caroline has also overseen the production of supporting resources and managed relationships with publishers, in addition to devising and leading Continuing Professional Development for teachers in related subjects. With a teaching background in the state sector, she has experience in delivering a variety of subjects including GCSE, A-Level Classical Civilisation, Classical Greek, Religious Studies, Philosophy, and Anthropology. Furthermore, Caroline has experience teaching for the International Baccalaureate and has served as an Extended Project Qualification Coordinator and A-Level examiner for AQA.
