Biography

Carolyn T. Dang is an Assistant Professor in the Smeal College of Business with a focus on Organizational Behavior. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior (Research Methods) from the University of Washington, received in 2014, and a Bachelor's degree in Social Psychology from the University of Chicago, completed in 2006. Her research interests include the dynamics of organizational behavior, ethics in business, and the interplay of social, ethical, legal, economic, and public policy factors in managerial decisions and strategies. As a Franklin H. Cook Fellow in Business Ethics, she is dedicated to examining the ethical dimensions of organizational decision-making. Carolyn teaches several courses, including classes on business ethics and organizational behavior design, offering students insights into the latest methods for managing people and designing effective organizations. Her teaching portfolio reflects her commitment to preparing future leaders to navigate complex managerial challenges and to foster environments conducive to organizational success.
