Biography

Charlotte Annighoefer is a Teaching Fellow at the Language Centre of the University of Warwick. She was raised bilingual in German and American cultures, spending her childhood in Germany and Turkey. After a gap year in Bolivia, Charlotte developed a strong interest in Latin America. She studied English Political Science at Humboldt University and the Free University of Berlin, including a semester in Mexico City focusing on International Relations. Following her graduation with a master’s degree, she completed teacher training and taught English at a Gymnasium in Berlin. In 2013, she moved to England, and in 2015, she became a German Tutor at the University of Warwick. Charlotte teaches German to students at absolute beginner and B2 levels, has also taught intermediate and higher intermediate classes in the LLL Programme, and works with master's students in beginners’ classes. She is passionate about foreign language teaching and intercultural exchange.
