Dr. Chih Pu Dai

Biography

Chih-Pu Dai is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at Texas A&M University. His research agenda focuses on the design and development of innovative and inclusive advanced learning technologies and learning design solutions that support teaching, learning, and human development. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence in Education, Extended Reality (XR), Game-Based Learning, and Simulation-Based Learning. Dr. Dai's interdisciplinary work spans areas such as Learning Technologies, Educational Psychology, and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). He has published in leading journals and venues, including the British Journal of Educational Technology, Computers & Education, and the ACM CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems. Dr. Dai earned his Ph.D. in Instructional Systems with a specialization in Learning Technologies from Florida State University in 2023, alongside a Graduate Certificate in Measurement and Statistics in 2022.
