Biography

Chris Gamrat is an Associate Teaching Professor at Penn State College of Information Sciences and Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Learning, Design, and Technology, an M.Ed. in Instructional Systems, and a B.S. in Management Information Systems, all from Penn State University. His research interests include Inclusive Design, Micro-Credentials, Digital Badges, Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, and Personalized Learning. He has served as an EDUCAUSE ambassador, promoting innovations in teaching and learning. Before joining the College of IST, Gamrat worked as an Education Technologist for NASA's Aerospace Education Services Project (AESP), where he contributed to the development of educational resources in aviation and space science. His passion lies in enhancing educational experiences through technology, aiming to support diverse learning needs and fostering inclusivity in education.
