Biography

Chris Motz is an Associate Professor in the Teaching Stream at Carleton University specializing in Psychology. His current research focuses on the underlying structures of prejudicial attitudes and ways to attenuate these attitudes. In addition to his research, he emphasizes the importance of scholarship in teaching and learning within higher education. He is working on a book that examines research on learning and its application to academic success in university environments. His background includes a Bachelor of Education from the University of Manitoba with a major in mathematics, followed by a second Bachelor's degree in Psychology.
