Biography

Christina Lee Yu is an Assistant Professor in the School of Operations Research and Information Engineering at Cornell University. She is a graduate field member of Operations Research, Statistics, Computer and Information Science, and Computer Science. Christina holds a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.S. in Computer Science from the California Institute of Technology. Prior to joining Cornell, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Microsoft Research New England. Her research focuses on algorithm design and analysis, high-dimensional statistics, inference networks, uncertainty in sequential decision making, online learning, and causal inference within network contexts. Additionally, Christina has been recognized for her contributions to the field through various awards and has served as an associate editor for Stochastic Systems. Active in academic circles, she participates in organizing workshops and presentations at major conferences.
