Dr. Christopher Wiese

Biography

Christopher W. Wiese is an Assistant Professor in the School of Psychology at Georgia Institute of Technology. He earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2015 and holds a B.S. in Psychology with a Management Minor from the same institution, obtained in 2007. His overarching research mission is to improve human flourishing through meaningful and transformational research. Dr. Wiese's work is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach, focusing on the human condition in the context of work, with a strong emphasis on well-being and team dynamics. His research has been published in several notable journals, exploring themes such as the impact of commuting on worker well-being, team learning dynamics, and the relationship between leisure-time physical activity and subjective well-being.
