Dr. Chuljin Park

Biography

Chuljin Park is a lecturer at the UNSW Business School, specifically in the School of Management and Governance. His academic expertise centers on understanding how organizations adapt to external shocks and societal changes. With a background that includes an M.S. in International Business/Strategy from Seoul National University and a Ph.D. in Organization Theory/Strategy from Pennsylvania State University, his research primarily investigates the evolution of social networks within organizations and their impact on organizational behavior. Notably, his doctoral research explored the relationship between executive social networks and corporate fraud. Park has also conducted studies on how Korean SMEs develop partnerships in the context of digital transformation and how executive failure can be anticipated through board actions. His current research interests include the role of artificial intelligence in reshaping educational and research methodologies, as well as the influence of institutional uncertainties like anti-corruption campaigns in China on organizational strategies. He is involved in fostering interdisciplinary innovation in education within the university and emphasizes critical thinking among his students about the societal contexts in which organizations operate.
