Biography

Chunlei Lu is a professor in the Department of Educational Studies at Brock University. He holds a Bachelor of Education degree and a Master of Education degree from China, along with a Master of Science and a PhD from the USA and Canada, respectively. He possesses teaching certificates from both Canada (Ontario) and China, and has taught at seven universities across China, the USA, and Canada. Dr. Lu has published three books, eight book chapters, and over seventy refereed articles worldwide. His research interests focus on the interconnected areas of education, culture, and health, specifically developing his scholarship in curriculum pedagogy, cognition and learning, and educational leadership and policy studies within social and cultural contexts. He explores curriculum pedagogy with themes including health and physical education, positive education, mindfulness, mental health, holistic health, and well-being.
