Dr. Cindy Kratzer

Biography

Cindy Kratzer is a Lecturer in the School of Education and Information Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She has a deep commitment to improving educational outcomes, particularly for struggling high school students. Dr. Kratzer earned her Ph.D. in Education from UCLA in 1996 and holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration from UCLA, as well as a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of the Pacific. Her scholarship includes presentations and publications focused on instructional strategies and adolescent motivation in literacy education. She has actively contributed to the field through various workshops and conferences, particularly within the American Educational Research Association (AERA). At UCLA, she is associated with the Educational Leadership Program, where she educates future leaders in the education sector and promotes research-driven practices.
