Biography

Claire Davidson-Jamieson is a Research Associate specializing in Mental Health and Wellbeing at the University of Glasgow. She focuses on neurodivergence and associated problems, particularly Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) and Disinhibited Social Engagement Disorder (DSED). Her work emphasizes holistic approaches to neurodevelopmental assessment, with a strong interest in pragmatic language and social communication skills. Currently, she leads the Efficient, Fast, Embedded, Clinical Tools (EFECT) Study, which supports NHS clinicians in adopting holistic approaches to neurodevelopmental assessment using a digital tool called ESSENCE-D. Her research also investigates the nuances of autism and childhood disorders linked to maltreatment. Claire is actively mentoring research assistants and PhD students while also being engaged in various collaborative initiatives in mental health research.
