Claire Ménard obtained her PhD from Rutgers University Paris 8 in September 2016. She is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Romance Studies at Cornell University. Ménard received her Maîtrise in Anglophone Studies from Université de Bourgogne in Dijon, France, in 2007. As a film specialist, she teaches the history of French and Francophone films and film theory, and coordinates French language courses, including Intermediate French and courses for beginners.
