Biography

Clare Arena Haden, a Wisconsin native, teaches Theatre 200: Acting Skills Life at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she utilizes actor training techniques to help students develop confidence as public speakers and effective communication skills. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. With over 30 years of experience, Clare has worked as a professional actor, voice and speech coach, and teaching artist. Her regional credits include performances at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, American Players Theatre, LILA, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Chamber Theatre, Renaissance Theaterworks, Four Seasons Theatre, and Children’s Theatre Madison. Clare is passionate about supporting individuals in becoming effective communicators and fully-expressed, authentically present humans. She has been a member of the Advisory Company Forward Theater since 2015.
