Dr. Connson Locke

Biography

Connson Chou Locke joined the Department of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2008. She specializes in teaching leadership, organizational behavior, negotiation, and decision-making. Professor Locke has been recognized with the Department of Management Outstanding Teaching Contribution Award and the LSE Excellence in Education Award for her exemplary teaching performance. She holds a PhD and MSc in Business Administration (Organizational Behaviour) from the University of California at Berkeley and a BA in Sociology from Harvard University, graduating with honors. Before entering academia, she accumulated 16 years of experience as an educator, manager, and management consultant across the United States and Asia Pacific, notably serving as the Asia Pacific Regional Training Development Manager at Boston Consulting Group. In this role, she oversaw learning and development consulting for staff in the region, drawing upon her extensive experience in designing leadership development programs across 20 countries in Europe, the Asia Pacific, and the United States.
