Dr. Constance Hadley

Biography

Constance Hadley is an organizational psychologist and Research Associate Professor in Management and Organizations at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business. She serves as a Faculty Research Fellow at Questrom’s Human Resources Policy Institute (HRPI), where she focuses on applying her research to real-world organizational challenges. Hadley was selected as part of the Thinkers50 Radar Class of 2024, highlighting her as a key figure in the future of work and management research. Her extensive academic background includes a PhD in Organizational Behavior from Harvard University, an MBA in Human Resource Strategic Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in Social Psychology from Princeton University. Prior to her academic career, Hadley gained practical experience in management consulting at McKinsey & Company and in marketing operations at General Mills, Inc. Her research has been published in prominent journals including Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, Leadership Quarterly, and Human Relations, and her work has been featured in major media outlets such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and NPR’s Marketplace Report. At Questrom, she teaches courses in organizational behavior and negotiations.
