Biography

Corinne Beauquis is an Associate Professor in the Department of Language Studies at the University of Toronto Scarborough, where she has been since 2004. Her recent research focuses on Experiential Learning. She teaches various undergraduate courses in French, including language courses and those about French language learning in the educational system, as well as community-engaged learning within the Francophone community. Beauquis served as the Special Advisor to the Dean on Experiential Education from 2020 to 2021. She has received Community-Engaged Learning Faculty Fellowships in the same period to support the development of new community-engaged learning and research courses. Additionally, she is the recipient of multiple grants that have facilitated new Work-Integrated Learning opportunities for students and community partners.
