Crispin Thurlow joined the Department of English at the University of Bern in August 2014. With a background in psychology from South Africa and theatre from England, he previously spent a decade at the University of Washington in the USA, where he held appointments in communication, linguistics, and anthropology as a full professor within the School of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences.
