Dr. Crystal Campbell

Biography

Crystal N. Campbell is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing, University of California, Davis. She has been an educator and practitioner in the field of nurse anesthesiology for over a decade, focusing on culturally sensitive and inclusive healthcare environments. Her teaching incorporates courses in the DNP-Nurse Anesthesiology program, covering subjects such as Basic Principles of Anesthesia, Advanced Principles of Anesthesia, Advanced Health Assessment Lab, Organizational Systems Leadership, Professional Role of Nurse Anesthetist, and Advanced Physiology and Pathophysiology. Prior to her current role, she was an Assistant Professor and Assistant Program Director at Florida Gulf Coast University, where she also contributed significantly to nurse anesthesiology education. Campbell’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Florida State University, a Master of Science in Anesthesiology from Barry University, and a Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia Practice with an emphasis in healthcare administration from Texas Wesleyan University. She actively engages in professional organizations and committees dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion within nursing education and practice.
