Biography

Daniel Coleman joined the Faculty of Management at the University of New Brunswick in 1986 and retired in 2020. In 2022, he was appointed as Professor Emeritus during the Encaenia Ceremony. Throughout his career, he taught courses such as Organizational Behavior, Work Motivation, Leadership, and Applied Integrated Studies. Professor Coleman received several accolades, including the Faculty's Excellence Teaching Award and the MBA Society's Professor Recognition Award. He has authored and co-authored numerous scholarly works, including 70 books, book chapters, cases, conference proceedings, and high-quality journal articles, earning four Paper Awards. He served in various administrative roles, including Assistant Dean (Undergraduate Programs), Associate Dean, Dean of the Faculty of Management, and Assistant Vice-President (Fredericton). Additionally, he has been involved with various boards, including the Fredericton Direct Charge Co-op and the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce. As a recognized educator, he has been invited to speak for numerous organizations in both the public and private sectors.
