Biography

Danielle Morin obtained a BSc in Mathematics and an MSc in Statistics from Université de Montréal, followed by a PhD in Statistics from McGill University in 1989. As a professor in the field of Supply Chain and Business Technology Management, she has contributed to both the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McGill and the Faculty of Commerce and Administration at Concordia University since 1988. Her major academic interests include business statistics and multivariate statistics, and she teaches in the Undergraduate Program, MBA Professional Executive Programs, and MSc Joint PhD Program. Morin's current research focuses on the impact of technology integration on interdisciplinary learning and the acquisition of higher-order skills among students. Throughout her career, she has presented her research at international conferences and published in academic journals. Notably, she co-authored "Statistics Applied to Canadian Issues," published by Ginn Press. Morin has held several senior administrative roles at Concordia University, including Associate Dean for Undergraduate and Graduate Programs and Vice-Provost for Academic Programs. In 2005, she received the YWCA Women of Excellence Award in Education and the Concordia Alumni Recognition Award for teaching excellence.
