Biography

David Sherry, born in 1974 in Northern Ireland, currently resides in Glasgow and works as a Lecturer in Art at Edinburgh College of Art. His artistic practice includes performance, drawing, video, and sculpture, often relating to everyday life. Sherry's work develops visual props and narratives for live performances and is influenced by social interactions and the observation of ordinary behavior. He graduated with an MFA from Glasgow School of Art in 2000 and a BA in Fine Art from the University of Ulster, Belfast in 1997. He has been involved in various residency programs and exhibitions, showcasing his work across multiple platforms.
