Biography

David joined Warwick Business School (WBS) in 2008. He has over 20 years of experience working in the energy and management consulting industries. After graduating in Natural Sciences from Christ's College, Cambridge, David joined BP, working in the UK. He completed his MBA at the Weatherhead School of Management, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, where he received the Dean's Award for academic excellence. He joined Gemini Consulting in 1995 as Vice President in the UK Energy, Utilities & Chemicals team at CapGemini. In 2004, he joined Schlumberger as Vice President & Director, where he created the firm's management consulting arm, Schlumberger Business Consulting. David initially focused on the London-based team and spent a year in Houston, directing the company's North & South America activities before returning to London to focus on clients in Northern Europe. At WBS, he has led the development of the WBS Global Energy MBA and serves as Course Director for the WBS MSc Management program. He also leads the WBS Global Energy Research Network and works on several externally funded research programs.
