Biography

David P. Kitlan joined Penn State Harrisburg in 2002, where he currently teaches traditional and online courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He teaches a variety of technology-related courses focusing on the role of information technology and information systems in organizations, including web-based technologies, computer programming, and information security. Before joining Penn State, he gained 20 years of corporate industry experience in research, engineering, manufacturing, business analysis, database management, and project management across various sectors such as environmental, food, power, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals. He has also been actively involved as a webmaster for organizations and has lectured on topics related to management and leadership, focusing on the use of information technology in both public and private sectors.
