Biography

David Lefevre is a Professor of Practice at Imperial College London within the Management and Entrepreneurship Group. He has a long-standing interest in the integration of technology in education and founded the Edtech Lab at Imperial College Business School in 2004 to explore the use of digital technology in higher education. He was instrumental in launching Imperial College's online courses in 2004 and the Global Online MBA program in 2015. David currently leads a team focused on developing AI strategy and infrastructure at the university. He teaches classes on New Venture Creation and serves as an 'Expert in Residence' at the Imperial Enterprise Lab. David co-founded the educational technology firm Epigeum, which is now a successful part of Oxford University Press, and in 2018, he co-founded Insendi, a firm that offers an online learning platform. He has also launched 'Curriculum Advances,' which publishes digital courseware designed to maintain student engagement. As an experienced board member, he currently serves as a trustee for the British Council, emphasizing digital innovation in education.
