David's research background involves supporting school curriculum assessment policy in England and across the EU. He started his part-time MRes at King's College London in 2005, transitioning to a full-time PhD studentship funded by the Economic and Social Research Council in 2010. In 2014, David became a post-doctoral research associate for the Education Endowment Foundation project, and he began his lectureship in 2016.
