Biography

David Resnick is the Associate Director of People Enablement Innovations Insights (I2O) at the Center for Healthcare Transformation Innovation at Penn Medicine, where he focuses on reducing health disparities and exploring methods to improve health through design. He is currently involved in projects aimed at helping vulnerable patients manage hospital stays and transition safely back home. Resnick is passionate about integrating education, health, and design to address complex problems. Before joining the team, he was an elementary school teacher and co-founded a wellness program that gained national recognition. He also co-founded a family cooking startup called Planet Murple and worked with Google Launchpad to pilot products and secure funding. Additionally, Resnick designed resources for over four million patients at Kaiser Permanente. He earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Yale University and holds a master's degree in early childhood education from Hunter College and a master's degree in public health from the University of California, Berkeley.
