Dr. Dawa Samdup

Biography

Dawa Samdup is an Associate Professor at Queen's University specializing in Pediatrics. He completed his medical education at CMCH, Vellore, followed by a Pediatric residency at JIPMER in Pondicherry. He furthered his training with a fellowship in Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics at McGill University. As a Developmental Pediatrician at KidsInclusive in Kingston, Dawa provides consultations in Brockville and Smith Falls, with a particular focus on social pediatrics, early childhood development, and childhood disabilities. He teaches medical students and residents about a wide array of neurodevelopmental topics and is actively involved in research concerning Cerebral palsy, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), neurodevelopmental disorders, and early childhood development. Dawa is also a member of the FASD diagnostic working group at NeuroDevNet.
