Dr. Diane Poulin

Biography

Diane Poulin is a Full Professor in the Department of Management at Université Laval. She holds a Doctorate in management from École Polytechnique de Paris and has multiple Master's degrees, including one in Public Administration from École nationale d'administration publique and another in Sociology from Université de Montréal. Her research focuses on strategic management, organizational design, and business networks, including strategic alliances and cross-section analysis. Dr. Poulin has been actively involved in various research projects and collaborations, particularly with the Interuniversity Research Centre on Enterprise Networks, Logistics, and Transportation (CIRRELT). Over her career, she has supervised numerous doctoral students and has held various prestigious positions, such as being a member of the Stephen Jarislowky Chair in International Business and serving on the Conseil universitaire de l'Université Laval. She has received several awards throughout her career, recognizing her contributions to interdisciplinary research and academic excellence, including the Brockhouse Prize for interdisciplinary research in science and engineering in Canada. Diane continues to engage with research activities that have a significant impact on the fields of management and logistics, contributing to the academic community and mentoring the next generation of researchers.
