Dr. Donna Haeger

Biography

Donna L. Haeger is a Professor of Practice and Academic Director of the Bachelor's Professional Studies Program at the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University. She focuses on teaching analytics and leadership, delivering courses ranging from spreadsheet modeling to leadership for both undergraduate and graduate students. Haeger has successfully designed coursework for the prestigious global Business Analytics Certificate offered by eCornell, including live and hybrid models in various formats. Her case-based courses emphasize data literacy, computational thinking, data management, collection, quality, integrity, and mining, along with optimization modeling, and result presentation. As the Business Analytics Concentration coordinator, she has been instrumental in launching this initiative. Haeger's research interests lie at the intersection of organizational behavior and digitization. She explores technology's impact on workplaces, management, and leadership. Furthermore, she is committed to cultivating synergy between people and technology, drawing on over 20 years of experience in finance and management. Haeger holds a PhD from Case Western Reserve University in management, focusing on designing sustainable systems, and she has published several papers concerning work-life integration and leadership education.
