Biography

Duncan M. Walker is a Professor and Associate Dean for Graduate Programs in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University in 1986, and also holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the same institution and a B.S. in Engineering (Honors) from the California Institute of Technology. His research interests include integrated circuit testing, defect-based testing, delay testing, IDDQ testing, fault diagnosis, realistic fault modeling, and parametric functional yield prediction. He has contributed extensively to the field of electronic engineering and has been recognized as an ACM Distinguished Scientist in 2014. Walker has received several honors and awards including the Charles W. Crawford Service Award and has held various fellowships at Texas A&M University, reflecting his commitment to excellence in engineering education and research.
