Dr. Dylan Gee

Biography

Dylan Gee is a Professor at the Yale School of Medicine, specializing in clinical psychology. He received his B.A. in Psychological Brain Studies from Dartmouth College and completed his Ph.D. at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His research centers on child and adolescent brain development within the context of developmental psychopathology, with a particular emphasis on neurobiological mechanisms related to early adversity and risk for anxiety and stress-related disorders. Dr. Gee's research has been funded by various prestigious organizations, including the National Science Foundation, National Institute of Mental Health, and the National Institutes of Health, among others. He has also received significant awards such as the NIH Director’s Early Independence Award, NARSAD Young Investigator Award, and the Jacobs Foundation Early Career Award. Additionally, Dr. Gee completed a clinical internship and a postdoctoral research fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical College, further enhancing his expertise in his field.
